Canberra Motorcycle Centre

After a few mods were made to my Suzuki, I traveled across Australia on this bike taking on some of the toughest tracks there is. The Anne Beadell way, Victoria, Gibson and Great Sandy deserts, Finke and the Simpson Desert to name a few. 9,600kms in 3 and 1/2 weeks. What an absolute workhorse this bike was. With me and my gear the DRZ400E carried 140kg’s of weight and at times an extra 40kg’s in fuel. The only bike to have no issues at all and it was ridden hard!! Not even a flat tyre. Very solid, very reliable more than capable and an awesome fun little bike. This bike has lots of kms left in it yet!!!! I am extremely happy with my purchase from CMC.

I can’t remember the last time I sent a commendation letter to a company but, on this occasion, I feel one is due.  Two weeks ago I took delivery of a new Can-Am Spyder RT Limited bike from Canberra Motorcycle Centre.  Since my first visit I have been impressed with Andrew’s knowledge/advice and very happy with his high level of customer service.  Please pass on my appreciation to Andrew as I already feel like a long-standing, valued customer.
From the outset, Andrew was aware that I acquired my motorbike learners licence only a few weeks ago and this was my first motorbike purchase.  He allowed ample time to explain the administrative aspects, take me for a test ride on another Spyder and explain all of my bike’s controls/features in a clear and easy way to understand.  To date, Andrew has either met or exceeded my expectations regarding the purchase and I have no doubt this will continue in the future.  In this day and age it is a pleasant change to deal with a company that provides an honest, first class service.  I will have no hesitation recommending Andrew and Canberra Motorcycle Centre to my existing friends and those I make in this new world of motorbike riding.
Kind regards,

I’d like to compliment one of your employees, Phil Baker, for the excellent service he provides me week in week out, basically every time I come in. Phil sourced new front rotors and had them in store and arranged fitting within 24hr’s, even though the supplier was showing “No Stock Available”. Also full credit to Glenn and Peter from the servicing department for squeezing me in and fitting them in 1 hour.
I have always been pleased with the service I receive at your branch. However, Phil’s professionalism and ability to source parts or expert advice quickly exceeded my expectations.
Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to do business with CMC for years to come.

I would like to thank the sales staff that recently helped my girlfriend order a jacket and a helmet. Dave spent a lot of time making sure that she was getting the right gear.
The other person I would like to thank is Ben. He dealt with Corrinda when she came to pick up the helmet and jacket. she does not know much about motorcycle gear, and he was happy to answer all of her questions. All of the staff that I have dealt with have always acted in a professional manner, but Ben always goes that step further to help the customer. I just want to make sure that he knows that this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.

Hey there! I got my 2003 ZZR1200 Kawasaki serviced today. I must say its great to have friendly and helpful staff looking after me, your service department is second to none 11 out of 10! The old girl ran like dream on the way home, was tempted to open her up but the boys in blue were cruising! Thank you very much, I can now go on my 3 week holiday knowing every thing is good to go!

All the best from Brad Lucas

Just wanted to let you know that i appreciated the service I received from the service area today. Yesterday about 3-30pm my bike fell over( at home) which broke off the clutch lever. Glenn arranged for Matt to come out this morning and replace the lever and also as a result I was still able to go riding today.
Thanks Canberra Motorcycles and also thanks to Brendon, Clint & Linda for their excellent help in the recent purchase of my Suzuki and riding gear.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Paul, Andrew, Sarah, Linda and Steve at CMC for all you help with the purchase of my new 650 V Strom.
Paul in particular, thanks mate for answering my constant stream of questions and for taking the time to explain and give some tips. You made the experience of buying my first new bike an enjoyable one.

I will be recommending you guys to any one looking to purchase a new bike.

Cheers Rob

I took delivery of my M109R today. This the third bike I have purchased from CMC and I am extremely impressed with the extraordinary customer service and professionalism of all the staff at CMC that I have dealt with, both with this purchase and with all previous purchases I’ve made at CMC. I would like to thank very much Paul for his patience over the months before I picked up the 109. Ben, Clint and Danni at the service desk were brilliant in organising the mods I wanted for the bike, Thanks to Sarah and Linda for making the “administrivia” as painless as possible! Also a big thanks to Di for always having greeting me with a big smile at reception. 🙂 And to all the other staff who treated me like a valued customer, I would like to express my appreciation. Please pass on my thanks to all the staff members mentioned!! Cheers!

I have recently begun learning to ride motorcycles. On the weekend of the 8-9 of February, I was undertaking the Stay Upright Rider Training Course, and preparing to buy my first bike – a Kawasaki ZZR250. On the Saturday after my first day of training, I went to the CMC to purchase my riding gear.

At this point, it is important to note that although I had clear specifications of what I wanted, and minimum standards, I had very little knowledge of the attributes or qualities of the available gear. I am, as it were, a newbie to the whole riding scene, and perhaps quite out of my depth.

In the showroom, I was shown the riding gear, and a salesperson named Clint came to assist me. Clint’s service was exceptional, and precicely what I needed at the time. He was enthusiastic, but also very serious. He actually listened to what I had to say, and truly tried to meet my needs, while also giving me all the time I needed. I never felt pressured, but instead felt understood. In the end, I walked out with a full compliment of high quality riding gear, within my budget, and a deeper understanding of the various aspects of the gear – I was confident with my purchases and hadn’t felt the need to compromise.

I myself have had a fairly long career focussed in customer service, and I was highly impressed with Clint’s service that day. Clint ought to be congratulated on his efforts, and I thank him personally for assisting me to such a high calibre.

See you out there Clint!
